The Adventure of Flight

An afternoon of extraordinary stories, aviation adventures and inspiration brought together guests at the Royal Geographical Society on Sunday for The Adventure of Flight, raising vital funds for Aerobility.

What an inspiring afternoon! Guests gathered at the Royal Geographical Society on Sunday for The Adventure of Flight, an event celebrating the remarkable people, stories and experiences that make aviation so special. The afternoon featured three fantastic speakers: John Romain MBE, John McFall and Jon Hunt, better known as The Flying Reporter. Each brought a unique perspective on the world of aviation, sharing their experiences, adventures and insights with an audience eager to hear more.

From extraordinary flying experiences to challenging perceptions and pushing boundaries, the talks offered plenty of inspiration and a reminder of just how much can be achieved with determination and confidence stepping outside of your comfort zone.

And it seems the audience agreed. Adam Twidell, who attended the event, summed up the afternoon perfectly: "A fascinating afternoon. Three very different aviation stories, each one inspiring in its own way. A real reminder of what's possible when you believe in yourself, your aircraft and most importantly, the team around you! Of course, this is something that happens every day at Aerobility... so perfect that we all raised some vital funds for this amazing charity in the process."

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our three wonderful speakers for sharing their stories so generously, everyone involved in bringing the event together, and of course, everyone who attended and supported us.All profits from the event will go towards supporting Aerobility and our mission to continue making aviation accessible to people with disabilities.

The adventure continues...

We hope The Adventure of Flight is just the beginning of an exciting series of talks, bringing together inspiring people and fascinating stories from across the world of aviation. To make sure you don't miss out on future events, sign up to receive the monthly Aerobility newsletter for all the latest news and announcements. Thank you to everyone who made the afternoon such a success. We look forward to seeing you at the next one!
