94 Year-Old returns to the skies
Connie White, a resident at Care UK's Dashwood Manor in Basingstoke, had fond memories of flying in her youth and expressed a desire to take to the skies once more. She had fond memories of flying in her youth and expressed a desire to take to the skies once more.
The care home staff set out to make her wish come true, and with the help of Aerobility, a charity that enables people with disabilities to fly, they organised a flight for her at Blackbushe Airport.
In her younger years, Connie worked in the civil service but discovered her love for flying in the 1980s, after a colleague flew her from Blackbushe to Cornwall and back for lunch.
