Joel is an experienced charity professional and volunteer who has had a number of leadership roles in both physical and mental health charities. He is currently Chief Executive and the heart disease charity, Cardiomyopathy UK. Joel specialised in growing charities, helping them to understand and articulate the impact that they have on the communities that they serve.

Joel is a fairly recent flyer, gaining his PPL in early 2018. After meeting Mike and the Aerobility team he was immediately impressed by the work of the charity and how it changes lives through general aviation. He sees being a trustee as the ideal opportunity to combine his passion for flying and his charity experience and hopes that Aerobility can grow to bring its transformation impact to more people.
