Blackbushe Airport’s Twilight Runway Challenge is the iconic flagship fundraising event for the Community Matters Partnership or CMP. It has been held annually since its inception in 2010, over which time it has steadily grown both in the number of participants but also in its ambitions.
As Twilight enters its 16th year, it is estimated that Challengers have completed a staggering 326,000 kilometers of runway since it began in Farnborough – an incredible 200,000+ miles or eight times round the world! And every step of this incredible journey has been taken in support of hundreds of good causes.
The Twilight Runway Challenge is a fun, family-friendly event which takes place along the airstrip of Blackbushe Airport (once the flights have stopped landing)! You can run, walk, cycle, scoot or skateboard your way round the 3km, 5km or 10km route.
The Twilight Runway Challenge is the Community Matters Partnership’s (CMP) flagship fundraising event. It is a unique opportunity for the community to get together, have fun and raise funds for local causes.
