Join Aerobility for all new Inspire-ability. Our new series begins with Nigel Lamb, an aerobatic pilot famed for winning the 2014 Red Bull World Air Race Championship. Nigel began his flying career in the then Rhodesian Air Force flying a variety of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Nigel went on to lead display teams including the Breitling Fighters and made his Red Bull Air Race debut in 2005. Nigel continues his display work and has also featured as a pilot in films such as Waiting for Dublin and Flyboys.

John Nichol is an author, broadcaster and former RAF navigator best known for his book Tornado Down, his account of being a prisoner of war under Saddam Hussein during the Gulf war.
John is joining Aerobility to talk about the Tornado and his new book Tornado - in the eye of the storm. The book tells the story of the RAF Tornado force and their families during the Gulf war.

You may have seen Liz McConaghy on your screens as the roving reporter for Aerobility's Armchair Airshow 2021. Now Liz is making her Inspire-Ability debut! Before joining Aerobility in 2019, Liz spent 18 years in the Royal Airforce as a Chinook crewman. In that time she completed 2 tours of Iraq and 10 of Afghanistan. Brian Wheeler is a Trustee at Aerobility and, having joined the RAF as an Air Traffic Controler in 1992, Brian is now a senior manager at NATS. In 2018 Brian suffered a life changing spinal cord injury which put his active lifestyle and career on hold. Having been told that he may never walk again, listen in amazment as Brian regales us with stories of how he has proved the doctors wrong and continues to do so.

Alex Brooker is one of the few disabled TV presenters and comedians in the UK. Co-host of The Last Leg for C4 & Host of the Paralympics, join us for some laughs, jokes and crazy anecdotes as Alex chats to us about how disability has changed both his life and his career. Alex first hit our screens in 2011, presenting the BT Paralympic World Cup after successfully auditioning for Channel 4’s Half Million Quid Talent Search to find new disabled talent for the 2012 Paralympics. Since then, Alex has co-hosted the award-winning show The Last Leg, fronted documentaries about disability and male body image including Disability and Me and has featured on panel shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
