Building on the success of Armchair Airshow, Aerobility, the UK’s leading disabled flying charity, along with Impressionist Jon Culshaw and Astronomer Pete Lawrence, is lining up a host of astronomers, scientists, aviators and artists for an hour long, live-streamed Armchair Aurora event on the evening of Saturday, March 13th.

It is with great sadness we must let you know that Dr Robert Pleming passed away suddenly on Tuesday 2 February. Known to many from the aviation community as the Chief Executive of the Vulcan to the Sky Trust, he led the amazing feat of returning Vulcan XH558 to the skies, but to Aerobility he was so much more than that – a friend, an inspiration with his good ideas and intelligence, mentor, provider of encouragement and of course regular attendee at Aerobility events with his equally friendly wife Suzanne. Our thoughts go out to Suzanne, family and friends during this tragic time.
His jovial personality and warm smile, genuine interest in us all, simply cannot be replaced. One-of-a-kind.
