Aerobility is delighted to announce the appointment of Christian Fahey as our new Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Christian has been a Trustee at Aerobility for the past three years and, during that time, has become an integral part of the team. Bringing a wealth of professional experience, enthusiasm and fresh perspective to the Board, Christian has also demonstrated a level of drive and commitment to Aerobility that is truly enviable.

We’re incredibly lucky to have him.

For Aerobility Chair Neil Tucker, Christian’s appointment is a natural next step for someone who has already made such a positive contribution to the organisation.

Neil has always lived by the principle: “Surround yourself with good people; they’ll make your life happier and make you look better!”

He continued: “Christian is the very best example of what our trustees do so well. He’s professional, affable and thoroughly committed to the Aerobility cause. It will be great working with him.”

As Deputy Chair, Christian will play an important role in supporting the Board and helping Aerobility as we enter the next chapter of our journey. His experience, energy and understanding of the organisation will be invaluable as we continue to develop our work and look to the future.

There is, however, another exciting development in Christian’s Aerobility journey — one that takes his involvement with aviation from the boardroom to the cockpit.

Having spent time around Aerobility’s pilots, volunteers and beneficiaries, Christian has well and truly been bitten by the aviation bug. In fact, his fellow Aerobility colleagues have managed to convert him completely: Christian has recently started learning to fly and is now working towards gaining his Private Pilot’s Licence.

It’s a fitting development for someone joining an organisation where the joy and freedom of flight are at the heart of everything we do. And, as anyone at Aerobility will tell you, once you’ve caught the flying bug, there’s no looking back!

We’re delighted to welcome Christian into his new role as Deputy Chair and look forward to seeing the contribution he will make as Aerobility continues its journey. With his experience, enthusiasm and growing passion for aviation, we’re confident that he will be a tremendous asset to the organisation.

Congratulations, Christian!
