Aviators Ball 2025 raises an incredible £110,000
In an evening of Giving, Glamour and Great Company, people and organisations came together to raise an amazing total at The Aviators Ball 2025.
Set at the luxurious Fairmont Windsor Park, the hotel hosted Aerobility friends and family from all over the country. The spellbinding Charlotte Storey took to the stage as the MC of the evening, joined by The RAF Red Arrows and ESA Astronaut Reserve John McFall for the prize giving part of the evening.
The vibrant George Bacon assumed the auctioneer position for the evening, showcasing 7 money cant buy auction lots. The highlight was of course a space related auction item, seeing an competitive bidding war resulting in the lot selling for over £30,000!
Chairman of the Aerobility Trustees, Shona Bowman took to the stage for one last time to announce that she will stepping down as Chairman. Shona was honoured with gifts from colleagues and supporters all coming together to celebrate her unwavering commitment to Aerobility. Fear not, Aerobility Trustee Neil Tucker will be taking the helm in the New Year.
The talented Dawn Spink treated the guests to a wonderful live song as the Aerobility 2025 film ended, leaving not a dry eye in the house. Then the band Go Go Gadget Legs saw the evening through and filled the dancefloor when it was time for a boogie.
This tremendous evening would just not be possible without the amazing dedication of the Staff and Volunteers behind the scenes. The same can also be said to our esteemed supporters who go above and beyond to support the charity’s mission every year.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this evening, whether you were bidding in the auction, attending in person or celebrating on social media. The total raised shapes the way that 2026 will look for Aerobility, and thanks to you we will continue to change lives strongly into the future.
