Supporters gather to view their names on the new Cherokee Six

Thursday the 16th of October marked a significant milestone at Aerobility, Blackbushe Airport, with the official launch of the newest addition to the fleet, The Cherokee Six.

This momentous occasion celebrated the arrival of Aerobility’s largest capacity aircraft. This addition was made possible by the generosity of countless supporters made up of individuals, trusts and corporate organisations who understood just how vital this aeroplane would be to making the skies even more accessible.

As a heartfelt thank you and recognition, each donor was invited to place a name on the aircraft, whether their own, that of a loved one, or in memory of someone no longer with us.

The unveiling was an emotional moment as the Cherokee Six proudly taxied up to the hangar, revealing a fuselage covered in stories, legacies, and lives touched by flight.

Corporate supporters and Charitable Trusts including London Biggin Hill Airport, The Red Arrow’s Trust, 2Excel, Aerobytes and Nicholson McLaren joined the celebration and took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

This new aircraft opens the door to even greater possibilities — with increased capacity, extended range, and the ability to carry specialist equipment for individuals with more complex disabilities, Aerobility is now better equipped than ever to make the magic of flight accessible to all.

If you’d like to be part of the journey and help us reach even more people through the magic of flight, please consider donating and add another name on the plane! Every contribution helps us go further, fly higher, and change more lives.
