Activities and Education Coordinator appointed by flying charity Aerobility

Hailey Crumpton has been hired as Aerobility’s Activities and Education Coordinator.

Hailey, who is 28 years old and has a background in the education sector, has joined UK disabled flying charity Aerobility to coordinate the scholarships, group activity days, and educational youth programmes which Aerobility offers to those with disabilities.

Hailey is overseeing Aerobility’s Junior Aspiring Pilots Programme - a four-part course specially designed for disabled children to get a fascinating and exciting introduction to aviation and to boost everyday skills such as teamwork and organisation.

She will also coordinate the Aviation Education Programme - a nine-month course where children with disabilities can boost aviation knowledge, grow in confidence and make friends with others who share a similar interest.

Aerobility CEO Mike Miller-Smith said: “The team here at Aerobility has welcomed Hailey with open arms. We are thrilled to have her on board to be driving some of our vital programmes forwards, and educating people with disabilities about the incredible world of aviation.”

Hailey said: “I've been here less than a month and I've already been so inspired by the stories and experiences of the people around me. My favourite part of the job is seeing the positive change that Aerobility can bring to the lives of people.

I think you'll struggle to find someone who has flown with Aerobility and has regretted it! More often than not, people come back from a flight and immediately say, ‘Alright! When can I go again?’ It's exhilarating and gives you a new lease on life!
