It’s big. It’s bold. It’s gutsy. It’s the UK’s one and only disability sports series for the Everyday Superhero!
For the Superhero Triathlon, you can either fly solo or team up with family and friends to do as much or as little as you wish, with as much or as little support as you need. If you want flippers or floats in the water or need to use your powerchair, the organisers make it possible. In fact, as far as they’re concerned anything goes.
There are three unique challenges to choose from and three very different ways to take part. You can fly solo, unite with family and friends for our team relays, or tow your Superhero around the entire course in the Sidekick Tri.
Solo Tri - For those who want to see the mission through from start to finish. But 'flying solo' doesn't mean you have to do it all alone. Every Superhero is welcome to bring a trusty Sidekick to accompany them for one or more of the tri stages if they wish.
Team Relays - You don't have to do a whole triathlon to earn your Superhero status. This is a chance for families and friends to unite to take on a stage each in a relay and share the work and the fun! Anyone can take part as long as at least one of your gang considers themselves to have a disability. Teams can be made up of two or three people, depending on how many stages you'd like to do. Team members are welcome to bring additional Sidekicks to push, guide or keep them company for just £5 each. Each Sidekick will receive a goody bag & memento medal.
Sidekick Tri - This is for the carers, friends and family. Sidekicks can compete the entire course whilst pushing, pulling, towing their Superhero.
Every participant will receive:
Aerobility has a limited number of reserved places for the SPRINT distance. If you would like to upgrade to a half or full triathlon, you will be asked to contribute a supplement payment. Use the code Aerobility1 to claim one of our charity places.
