Andy Robins.



Andy is a commercial airline pilot, recently retired from the RAF, from which he brings a wealth of aviation knowledge, expertise and management skill to Aerobility.

Having joined the RAF in 1991, Andy's experience includes flying the Tornado GR1 fighter bomber, and working as an instructor before being selected for the Red Arrows in 2005.

Andy took up the post of 'Red 10' the Display and Road Manager for the Red Arrows between 2005 and 2008 seasons, where roles included display planning, airspace management, safety officer, commentator and passenger pilot. Andy regularly flew with the team and was the team photo chase pilot, flying the '10th' position with cameramen to provide airborne footage for PR, TV and film.

Andy's last job with the RAF was with 32(TR) Sqn RAF Northolt, flying MOD, Government and Royal VIPs, together with serving in support of RAF operations in Afghanistan. Andy is also a member of the Flying Control Committee at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.
